February 2019 Fast Track Method Training Client Practicum

February’s practicum client, Dianne, wanted to downsize 99% of what was in her garage and start fresh. She kept more than she thought but did let go of 85%. Now new systems for gardening, workbench, mudroom, and storage. Plus a fresh coat of paint!

    These are impressive before and after photos! I’d love to our garage transformed like that. But what is even more impressive is the description of and reaction to the organizing process. It must have been fun to work with such a highly motivated client. And what excellent practicum training for the organizers with you leading the way.

      Linda,
      Our client was very motivated but this was a very emotionally charged area since her husband passed away eighteen months ago and this was primarily “his” space. But, she is now “ready” to let go and that was highly evident during the process.

    Wow, those before and after photos are great! Such a marked difference between them. How long did it take to make the transformations?

      Deb, Basically two days! My students and I spent six hours with the client going through EVERYTHING in the garage. The power of numbers! Then The Container Store’s Installers spent a full day tearing out the old shelving and workbench, patching the walls, and a full paint before installing the elfa storage systems. The client spent half a day installing what she kept.
